Container clearance

ALS Global shipping & logistics operate at all International Airports and sea ports in Ghana and we do clear consignment within 2-3 working days provided all the documentations are complete before arrival of the container.

We liaise with Ghana Custom service and other port agencies to ensure swift clearance of cargo & deliver to our clients. 

We have a good working relationship with all container terminals in Ghana and within the West Africa zone and this enable us to ensure that examination is conducted within 48 hours of discharge the containers where applicable.

We keep efficiency in maintaining a good relationship with shipping lines & Terminals within Tema and Takorade and other ports to avoid unnecessary delay in dropping of empty containers as well as
waivers if need arises on behalf of our clients

Customs Documents required for clearance of cargo include the following;

    • Bill of lading/ Air Way Bill (AWB)
    • Combined Certificate of Value & Origin
    • Commercial invoice
    • GSA (where applicable)
    • NAFDAC (where applicable)
    • Dangerous goods certificate/DGN (where applicable)
    • Packing list
    • Test certificates/IRC (where applicable)
    • Certificate of conformity (where applicable)

Transit Clearance

From major ports in Ghana, we do clear cargo and transport to other part of West Africa’s inland countries like Burkina-Faso and Niger.
